Origins: Curse of Strahd (Jack February)

The "Origins" Program

Always wanted to learn to play Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition? Origins is for you. Join other beginner players and our  in this short two-session tutorial campaign.  Create your own character from scratch in the first session and then jump in to your first adventure! Origins games are designed to transition into weekly, recurring-campaign "Legends" games after the first month.

While you are welcome to join us for the Origin Sessions on their own, we highly recommend giving Legends a try.

Jump into the action : in this Two Session package, we will get you into the action right away. Our first session will focus on character building and learning the basics of the game, and our second will have us begin our adventure in earnest. Origins games are designed to transition into weekly "Legends" Games after the first month. The Origin is just that: the beginning of a grand adventure.

Cancelation Policy : 

1) If the DM or The Strategist cancel the session, you will be refunded for that session.

2) If enough players cancel on a session such that there are 2 or fewer attending, the session will be canceled and those players that did not cancel will be refunded for the session. Reach out to [email protected] if you need to miss a session.

3) During the week surrounding major Holidays, refunds are given for anyone who needs to miss (and sessions are often canceled)

4) In the case of a Major Life Event (Graduation, Childbirth, etc) you will be refunded for any missed sessions. These exceptions are made on a case by case basis.

To qualify for a refund, you must email [email protected] at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time of the game if you need to inquire about a cancelation.

Game Description : Curse of Strahd

- Iconic Gothic Fantasy - The Curse of Strahd is perhaps D&D 5e's most acclaimed module, drawing inspiration from many grimdark vampire mythizes and Lovecraftian mysteries. This campaign begins at level 1 and runs to level 15... If you survive that long.

- Mist and Shadow - The land and people of Barovia are cursed; you, in your misfortune, are now bound to this land of shadows and misery. Will you be able to free the downtrodden from their oppressor, saving the plane from eternal night? Or, like all before you, will you succumb to the evils here?

- Horrific Inspiration - Your DM Jack draws from Tim Burton movies like Beetlejuice , so expect a healthy mix of the macabre and the mirthful.
