The "Origins" Program

Always wanted to learn to play Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition? Origins is for you. Join other beginner players and our  in this short two-session tutorial campaign.  Create your own character from scratch in the first session and then jump in to your first adventure! Origins games are designed to transition into weekly, recurring-campaign "Legends" games after the first month.

While you are welcome to join us for the Origin Sessions on their own, we highly recommend giving Legends a try.

Jump into the action : in this Two Session package, we will get you into the action right away. Our first session will focus on character building and learning the basics of the game, and our second will have us begin our adventure in earnest. Origins games are designed to transition into weekly "Legends" Games after the first month. The Origin is just that: the beginning of a grand adventure.

Cancelation Policy : 

1) If the DM or The Strategist cancel the session, you will be refunded for that session.

2) If enough players cancel on a session such that there are 2 or fewer attending, the session will be canceled and those players that did not cancel will be refunded for the session. Reach out to [email protected] if you need to miss a session.

3) During the week surrounding major Holidays, refunds are given for anyone who needs to miss (and sessions are often canceled)

4) In the case of a Major Life Event (Graduation, Childbirth, etc) you will be refunded for any missed sessions. These exceptions are made on a case by case basis.

To qualify for a refund, you must email [email protected] at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time of the game if you need to inquire about a cancelation.

Game Description : Waterdeep: Dragon Heist!

A high fantasy 5e adventure set in the busiest city on the sword coast:

Merchants with every ware you could dream of, guilds to join and earn favor, crime syndicates that slink beneath the city's dark underbelly, a vault of riches greater than any dragon could dream, and more all waiting for the right adventurers to come and plunder its depths! Starting at 2nd level.

•   Take a walk, run, or a fly by: The wild and oddly lovable City of Waterdeep is a place where if you can't find it there, you can't find it anywhere! A classic 5e adventure perfect for just about any kind of character or player from new to experienced.

•   Interactive Story: A campaign shaped around your character's interests and interactions with many factions, places, and enemies hand woven for whatever path you seek. There are no rails on this ride!

•   Deep Combat: strategic combat with more depth than the city itself, from custom mini bosses that change the battlefield around them, to side objectives that can be completed for extra reward or optional outcomes.

•   Secrets Abound: No one or no thing should be taken at face value in the city of a million faces. With a beautiful facade would-be adventures get dragged in all too often and are never seen again. Will you be strong and smart enough to survive?
