As always, your children's safety is our absolute priority, and we will be instituting a variety of measures designed to promote the health and well-being of every in-person attendee. In particular:
Tuition:
Daily Schedule:
Snacks:
We offer bagged snacks (Fritos/Pretzels/Sun Chips) in the morning and a home-baked sweet treat (usually a chocolate chip cookie) in the afternoon.
There is always water available and campers may bring a refillable water bottle. You may want to send an additional snack if you have a hungry child.
** Please do not send anything that contains nuts, as there may be children with serous nut allergies. If your child has dietary restrictions that we should know about, please be sure to tell us. **
Lunch:
Lunch is included for all full-day campers. We make our campers' lunches on-site in our cafe. (Menu is currently TBA.)
All lunches include baby carrots, grapes, and a capri-sun. The cafe is nut-free.
If your child has a dietary restriction, please send lunch as we do not have the capability to offer an alternative.
** Please do not send anything that contains nuts, as there may be children with serious nut allergies. **
If your child has an allergy or travels with an EpiPen, you must alert staff at drop-off and provide explicit written instructions on your child's waiver.
Absences/Credits/Refund Policy:
Absences:
If your child will be absent from camp, we can return the cost of the day to you in the form of family credit. Family credit is a form of store credit that is applicable only to childcare programming but does not expire. To qualify for family credit, you must notify us of your child's absence at least a day in advance.
Lateness Policy:
Our morning programming starts promptly at 9:15am and our afternoon programming starts promptly at 1:40pm. If you are running late to pick up your child, please call us asap. We offer a 10 minute grace period at our 12 noon, 4:30pm and 6pm pick up times. For each 10 minutes late beyond that, a $5 late pick up fee will be charged.
Please contact The Brooklyn Strategist if you have any questions.
